Geography: Costa Rica is located in Central America. It borders both the Caribbean Sea to the east, and the North Pacific Ocean to the West, Nicaragua to the North, and Panama to the South. 

Costa Rica is a small country, but rich by its people, her level of education, its capacity of learning and its specialization. Its natural wealth consists of its fauna, its flora, its rivers, their beaches in both oceans, their earth and its climate that allow it to produce the twelve months of the year. The army of Costa Rica is constituted by their teachers and their great mass workers. The Costa Rican people characterizes by its legendary cordiality and its friendly nature. A great majority of the population descends from the Spanish and European colonizers. The official language is Spanish; however, an increasing percentage of the population speaks English. A fine and flavorful coffee is produced in their lands. Beautiful butterflies and the songs of our birds cheer the spirit of the visitor.
